Stephanie is the Education & Public Programs Coordinatorat the Monash Gallery of Art. As part of this role she hosts the Melbourne Photobook Club. She is also a photographer.
At the last Photobook Club meeting she showed us the ‘notebook’ that she had made using images from Iceland. She had used a range of different materials to print on including tracing paper. It worked extremely well with the subject matter.
One of my next explorations will be with a range of paper stock.
At this stage I've used:
- semi-gloss
- transparency film.
Things I've considered trying include:
- gloss
- matt
- cotton rag
- tracing paper
- tissue paper
- newspaper
- magazine pages
- rice paper.
